High School & Junior High School Basketball Court. The main difference between a college basketball court and a high school basketball court is the length. While college courts are 94' long, high school courts are 84'. Junior high courts are even smaller at 74' and play with a width of 42'. The other primary difference is high school courts generally do not have a restricted arc under the basket.
As per the FIBA norms, the length of the basketball court is 91.85 ft (28 m), while its breadth is 49.21 ft (15 m). The height of the rim or hoop is the same as in NBA, i.e., 10 ft (3.5 m). In fact, the height of the hoop is same irrespective of the measurements in senior level basketball.
